The gel is self-stabilizing, transparent and contains silicone, while its main active ingredients are Polysiloxanes and in siloxane resin elements that promote skin healing. It is indicated for prevention and treatment hypertrophic and keloid scars. It can be applied even to open wounds, unlike other similar creams on the market, and is suitable for fresh wounds, superficial burns, abrasions or chemical peeling.
H silicone that it contains has the necessary moisture levels in the skin to heal quickly, allows gas exchange, promotes the production of new collagen, while at the same time creating a thin protective film, like a semi-permeable membrane. Use
- The affected skin or wound must be clean.
- Remove as much exudate or fluid from the wound as possible before application.
- Σwith traumatized or discontinuous skin that does not require dressing:
- Apply with gentle movements once or twice a day on exposed areas, a very thin layer on the affected area and repeat the movements until it dries.
- Once dry, Stratamed can be covered by sunscreen, make-up, pressure bandages or casts.
- The 10 gr tube is sufficient for the treatment of a straight scar 5-8 cm long. and application twice a day for over 90 days.
